PEM Terms of Use

1. Parameters of Use

Do not under any circumstances store sensitive data, or critical data using PEM. Versioning could change at any minute, and should only be used with short term provisions (IE: Sending a message that should be read almost immediately).

Due to the highly experimental state of this project, things could change with little or no notice, and I cannot be held responsible for data loss of any kind due to the nature of this experiment.

2. Reverse Engineering

By using PEM, you agree to not attempt to reverse engineer the protocol without written expressed consent from P. Hunter (that's me).

If you wish to try and disect the inner workings, I would like results on findings, at minimum, to further expand the safety and research of PEM, however, you must contact me first before attempting to reverse engineer the protocol.

3. Commercial Use

Due to the complex nature of PEM (see Parameters of Use) and research status, I FORBID ANY COMMERCIAL USE. I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR PROBLEMS AND OR DATA LOSS IF USED IN A COMMERCIAL ENVIRONMENT.

(On a side note, if you consider this untested, highly experimental project, a viable solution versus other encryption methods such as AES, and you are a developer... STAHP.)

4. Unforeseen Clause

If you intend to use PEM in a way not suited for real-time communication, and/or experimental, non-sensitive encryption, you may be blocked access to PEM, and or sent a Cease and Desist, immediately. This is a fun project. Have fun with it. Just don't encrypt your bitcoin wallet in it or anything. That would be a TERRIBLE decision.
