Pghpunkid's Encryption Method

Pghpunkid's Encryption Method is an experimental encryption method developed over several years of trial and error, as a fun project. Today, we are currently at 0.9 and are still working to make it better.

PEM is essentially a novelty, and a basic way to send obfuscated messages to friends wherever text can be sent, by sharing a premade password beforehand. Think of a note passed in class. When in plain text, its readable by anyone who wants to read while being passed. If that text was obfuscated, they would ignore it, and pass it along. If you get caught passing notes, with a plain text message, your teacher might have you read it in class. With an obfuscated message, noone can read it. Unless they have you and your friends shared password.

PEM never stores passwords or messages at any time. Please see our Privacy Policy to find out what we do store, and why we use it. While you are at it, please read the Terms of Use regarding all of PEM, who can use it and how it can be used.
